Sig Sauer P365 Fuse – High Capacity, Slim Profile, Comfortable to Carry

Sig Sauer has made a name for itself with the P365 platform, and the new P365 Fuse is clearly built to push that legacy forward. I picked this one up not because I needed another carry gun, but because I was curious if Sig could really deliver 17+1 capacity in something that doesn’t feel like a brick in the waistband. Spoiler: they pulled it off.

Right out of the gate, the grip texture is one of the standout features. Sig went with a honeycomb-style stippling, and I’ve got to say — it’s just right. Not too aggressive, but definitely not slick. If you're carrying in warm weather or training hard, it's going to stay locked into your hand.

Slide serrations are deep and easy to grab, both front and rear. Whether you're chambering a round or doing a press check, there's plenty of grip to work with. The 4.3-inch barrel balances well and gives the gun a slightly longer sight radius than the standard P365, which I personally like.

The fiber optic front sight is bright during the day and easy to track. Combine that with the flat-faced trigger, and you've got a setup that feels more like a performance pistol than a carry gun.

One big plus for me is the optic-ready slide, which fits Shield RMS-c footprint optics — and others that share that same footprint — without the need for an adapter plate. That’s a smart move. Adapter plates can be one more failure point. Less is more.

Capacity-wise, you get 17 rounds in a platform that still feels slim and carries comfortably. Sig designed the grip module around this new capacity, so it doesn’t feel like they just stuffed a bigger mag into an old frame. It feels like a proper evolution of the P365 line.

During my review, I also field stripped the Fuse on camera, just to show folks how it all comes apart. Inside, the barrel and recoil spring assembly are clean and well-machined. Nothing fancy, just functional. The frame internals are what you’d expect from Sig: quality parts, solid fit.

This isn’t a full-size duty pistol, but it doesn’t feel like a subcompact either. It really walks that line well. Perfect for concealed carry, especially if you want more capacity without going true full size.

In a market flooded with “micro compacts” and “XL variants,” the P365 Fuse feels like the grown-up version of the original, without losing its roots. It’s accurate, dependable, and most importantly — it makes sense for real-world carry.

Check out my full video review below to see it in action, get a closer look at the features, and decide if it’s the right fit for your setup. As always, let me know what you think in the comments or shoot me a message if you’ve had hands-on time with the Fuse.
